Welcome to Wallypog's Bog

Have you ever watched one of those movies where someone sits down to write a letter and they write a couple of lines then crumple the paper and throw it in the trash? That's pretty much how I feel right now. Every time I think I get a great intro going it ends up a victim of the delete key. As such, I've tossed out the last piece of digital paper for now and simply extend a hearty welcome to anyone who happens by. Relax and enjoy yourself as you browse the site.

Why the name Wallypog's Bog?

Every wallypog should have a bog and this one's mine. I registered this domain a lot of years ago for a project I had going back then but since I'm such a flibberty-jibbit as time passes so do my interests but I hung on to this domain because I couldn't bear to part with it.

A few things I've always loved, though, are writing, rambling, and venting (not necessarily in that order) so I decided to start putting it all together. I hope people will find something useful here, and possibly entertaining as well. I'm a cynical old coot who hates hype, commercialism, and sensationalism. I also sometimes get a bit snarky. The only way to know if it all works together or not is to give it a try.

I will probably run out of things to say at some point. But today is not that day.

Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become your character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny."
